Gracias por traer al mundo un sonido que marco a la musica y evolucionaria en todo lo que luego fue conocido al pasar los años como post punk y en la actualidad indie.

Ian con su voz y letras expresaba siempre nostalgia dolor y sobre todo mucha tristeza e impotencia debido a su enfermedad. Su baile emulaba los movimientos de sus ataques, su vida emocional era un desastre, el estar con una persona que no amas … lo mato.

One of the best songs ever. 

I recently feel in love with Ian Curtis, I’ve heard Joy division since I was 15, I’ve known about him since then, but I just saw again Control and I feel so in love with him, I felt his songs like never before, I kinda feel related, his sadness. 

Now Joy Division has become one of my fav bands, now I get it, I understand them.

Its deeper, darker, and beautiful.
